Once on the road past Apna Ghar above Merces, we came across a snake -- a thin green one -- that had got run over possibly moments before. Part of it was crushed, but it was still trying to writhe across the road. It died even as Anjali got off and went to put it into the bushes. After switching it off, the battery would still be warm. I spoke to Fleming. Fleming quickly pointed out the mistake in my circuit. From that day on, an impression was formed.
